The loss really killed the weekend, that's for sure. But time marches on and I just went back to work today and that didn't allow me anytime to feel bad.

Also, the ups and downs are part of big time college football. After the loss I was sitting with my buddies and other season ticket holder and it was bad but we left saying, "if you told me 6, 10, 20 years ago we'd have a conversation about losing and not being #1 we'd be rolling on the ground laughing at you."

It was a huge bummer but Cal can still get to the Rose Bowl...and that would be plenty.

It's times like these I wish I went to some no-name school just so I don't have to suffer through such an unbearable defeat. My friends from other schools aren't making this grieving process any easier (the words "12 yard line" will forever haunt me). Despite our loss, I'm still going to the UCLA game to support our wounded team because we bears just don't quit. Best of luck to you and just know that you're not alone.
