Plus I enjoy watching the majority of games at home in the comfort of heating (translation: Memorial Stadium is goddamned miserable).

Plus I was pampered by standing tenth row in the Student Section in '06. Any other seat in the park would disappoint me. I'll come back for big games (this year's schedule looks nice), but I'll be a little more selective about what I pick.

Re: The Bears Are Roaring: Week of 5/21

Hey man, I understand the need to branch out. I moved to SF after college even though I was still staying in the Bay Area for law school. Now, I'm moving to Texas. And, I've been able to travel, if only a bit. Still, I re-up with season tickets every year and plan on flying back for a couple games, even if I have to search between the sofa cushions for coins. Your Golden Bears need you brother!

Re: The Bears Are Roaring: Week of 5/21

You're going to find this hard to believe, but there's a world outside of Cal football I want to explore. Again, I haven't decided my fall plans, but at the least I'll be moving out of Berkeley.

Re: The Bears Are Roaring: Week of 5/21

You are running a Cal blog and you are not going to buy season tickets? Wtf? That's about as absurd as your not going to Big-Game or not caring about the rivalry with the Furd (lesson learned, eh?).

Look, when I went to Cal, in 2003 my buddy decided to do the UCDC thing in the fall. I'm sure he enjoyed the whole DC thing, but then again, he missed Cal's upset of USC.

And, who actually gets ESPNU? I wish I did.
